Fun Coding Classes
We provide a variety of fun coding classes in the Bournemouth,
Christchurch, Poole, Hampshire and Dorset areas.

Our popular coding classes offer you the chance to prepare your students for the future. Computer coding has been described as ‘The literacy of the 21 st Century’ and so our courses are designed to prepare children for our rapidly developing technological world where almost every device we use is computer operated. Everything from traffic light crossings to mobile phones will have
been coded to function properly.
Not only do coding skills help children understand how computers work, but they actively stimulate: creativity, mathematics, logical problem solving, critical thinking, efficiency, communication abilities,
teamwork capabilities, STEM skills and much more; which all, inevitably, enhance school education too. Furthermore, as the job sector is seeing a sharp increase in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and computing; learning to code at a young age gives children a distinct advantage for the
future as it potentially leads to a career in an industry where demand for such skills is high and pay is very competitive.
Fun is central to all our courses; children learn to code by creating and building their own video games, which they enjoy so much they don’t really notice they are learning! Taking inspiration from martial arts learning, coding courses are held in our dojo (classroom), where ninjas (children) are
guided by our senseis (classroom assistants) and achievements are marked by issuing coloured wrist bands commensurate with the coloured belts that mark progress in martial arts.

Coding Classes:
Robotics with LEGO
From silly dancing robots, a working safe with password detection, a racing rhino, and much more! Using the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics kit, students will learn the fundamentals of how to design, build, and code robots. They will also apply their new knowledge of sensors, motors, and coding as they construct their own creations.
Games Making and Coding
Our students (ninjas) start on a white belt, beginning with JavaScript and moving on
at their own pace to more in-depth languages such as Lua and C#, and as they do so, progressing through the levels all the way up to black belt.
Turing Tumble
An educational tool that teaches children and adults of all ages how computers work while introducing to the building blocks of coding. With brain-teasing puzzles of increasing difficulty the fun is guaranteed. Turing Tumble helps develop critical problem solving skills as well as understand how computers and coding work.
Scratch Jr Coding
An introductory coding language for kids and adults of all ages.
With Scratch Junior, young children (aged 5-7) learn to program their own interactive stories and games. An incredible tool to boost their creativity, learn problem solving and start to design their own projects. An immersive education experience that will start preparing young kids for the future.
